The link above is to a brief overview of this content that might be found on this website. I am busy trying to do other things with it, so it is more of a sample of skill than content.

Why We Started

First

We know how different our kids, clients, and constituents are from the norm, yet we are aware they give to the world needs them for what they see, for who they are now and will become.  For me, these differences are why light can push away the dark and why love ends fear and hatred.

Second

At this point, we are incredibly grateful for the work of real genius in our ability to learn from one another. We recognize the ambiguity of the autistic spectrum in everyone, we see an enormous resource that businesses, communities, and schools cannot dismiss because of their social and learning differences.

Third

This point has greater sensitivity as of 2020. The pendulum of our democracy has exposed the raw temperament of a segment in our society that responds to hate and intolerance, fear, and the horrors of indifference. It exposes the dark side of the American experiment. What we learn from one another and our experience here is more than applicable to the success of our children. These are the lessons of diversity that push and pull a civil society forward in ways that the new ground it forms is firm, and cannot be shaken.

An inspiring first 50. However, if a name and description has occurred to you and not found in the next 50 and fits the "urban change" category or tag, please come back here and make the addition. Especially, if you have the names of women. Also, please suggest other categories with the idea that there is a network out there for creating positive change.
