This project will continue to develop content based on the confidence embedded in the following idea.

Asperger’s Syndrome
Autism or Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is one of the most common neurodevelopmental disorders, with an estimated incidence of 1 in 88 children.

Autism Speaks recently published an article on a report that helps people to understand the idea of a spectrum and where Asperger’s Syndrome fits. See the report review article (AS ON ASD) The deep-end paper is a 1.7M pdf (HERE) and published by the open access resource BMC Medicine. (There are six papers using the search term “Aspergers” on this site.)

The Autism Society provides a direct and to the point description of Asperger’s Syndrome. It will be found on the Autism Society’s website (HERE) along with a path to resources that may be of use to you and your kid.
